Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville
The Halton District School Board serves more than 60,000 public school students in the municipalities of Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville in southern Ontario. All four municipalities form the Regional Municipality of Halton. The Region of Halton and the Halton District School Board share the same boundaries encompassing 232,000 acres of land (93,887 hectares), 25 kilometres of which are along the shore of Lake Ontario. The Board has a total of 84 elementary schools and 19 secondary schools which are supported by approximately 4000 teaching staff, 1943 support and business staff, and more than 200 school Principals and Vice-principals.
